It’s a sure sign that the ski season is upon us.

The Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba’s 31st Annual Cross Country Ski Swap Shop will be held tomorrow, Sat., Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Windsor Park Nordic Centre (10 Des Meurons St.).

Organizers say the event is a community sale of new and used cross-country ski equipment and has signalled the start of the ski season since 1982.

Individuals wanting to consign their gently-used equipment with the organization can do so at the centre until 9 p.m. tonight. Please bring photo ID. It will cost $1 per individual and $2 per family to enter the swap shop, and $15 commission on all goods sold will be retained by the CCSAM.

During the event, knowledgeable volunteers and local retailers will be available to assist visitors with their purchases and help provide information about programs offered by the CCSAM and cross-country ski clubs in the province. The event is open to the public.
