It’s nearly time to pick up the pigskin for players of two local football teams.

The Greendell Falcons will hold registration sessions for the upcoming season at the team’s clubhouse at Art McOuat Park (910 Maginot Arena) from Thurs., May 1 to Sat., May 3. The Thursday and Friday sessions will be held between 6:30 and 9 p.m. and the Saturday session will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers say payment options include debit, cash or cheque and Visa and Mastercard options may also be available. For updates and detailed information, visit www.greendellfootball.com

The St. Vital Mustangs will also be holding registration sessions during exactly the same time slots at the team’s clubhouse in Maple Grove Park (190 Frobisher Rd.). Organizers say registrants are encouraged to come early and bring their friends.
