Everyone deserves to be bundled up during the brutal Winnipeg winter.
Agape Table is running out of winter gear to donate to the homeless, and is asking the public to drop off winter jackets, winter boots, and socks to its location at 175 Colony St. during weekday mornings.
"There is a growing number of people in Winnipeg, including the working poor, who can’t afford to pay their rent and have enough to eat — and for them, warm clothing is a luxury," Agape Table executive director Martina Richter said in a release.
