Group seeks drivers and servers

Meals On Wheels is looking for volunteers in the community who don’t mind skipping lunch to deliver lunch.

The organization, which delivers meals to people stricken at home throughout the city, is looking for drivers with a valid licence to deliver hot meals between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in their neighbourhood.

The organization is also looking for servers, who work in tandem with drivers and bring the meals into clients’ homes.

Those interested are encouraged to apply with a friend as a driver/server team.

Meals On Wheels delivers up to 15,000 meals per month to 650 clients recovering from illness or injury, and those living with disabilities.
