McGonigal fondly remembers Metro One days

Pearl McGonigal was the author of “Frankly Feminine,” a cooking column in the Metro One which provided readers with recipes, as well as occasional household tips and tricks. McGonigal also served as a Winnipeg city councillor and was named the province’s first female lieutenant-governor in 1981.
