Red River Cup calling for volunteers

  • Print

The next generation of gridiron greats is coming to Manitoba, but some help is needed to make their arrival a steady one.

With the fourth-annual Red River Cup on the horizon, taking place at Investors Group Field from July 6 to 13, volunteers are needed to help the tournament run smoothly.

Positions including 50/50 sales, program and merchandise sales, ushers, game statisticians, yard markers, and team registration staff are required. All positions are for those 18 years of age or older, except for ushers, which is also open to 16-and 17-year-olds.

Five under-16 teams from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia will take part in the tournament.

Those interested in volunteering can contact Howard Lavitt from Football Manitoba at assistant@footballmanitoba.com or 204-925-5769.
