Night of the Disappeared is holding an event to remember political prisoners who have disappeared around the world.
Taking place at the West End Cultural Centre on Oct. 18 from 7:15 to 11 p.m., this evening will feature singing and dancing from the Ethiopian, Argentinian, Filipino, and Chilean communities.
There will also be speakers, including Red Terror survivor Seifu Gudeta and human rights activist Misale Saeed.
Tickets are $25, and can be purchased at the WECC and at the convenience store at 495 Sargent Ave.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
