Reaching new athletic heights

Climbers scale the rock climbing wall in the University of Manitoba’s new Active Living Centre to retrieve the red ribbon during the grand opening ceremony of the multi-million dollar facility.


  • Jordan Reaves signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on April 9 as a wide receiver. Reaves is a graduate of St. John’s-Ravenscourt and former basketball player with the University of Brandon.

  • Graffiti artists transformed three white canvases into works of art outside Crescent Fort Rouge United Church (525 Wardlaw Ave.) this past weekend. The installation was part of a visual arts festival hosted by the Fort Rouge area church.
