B’nai Brith will help fill the stands of Shaw Park in August.
The organization, which has been active in Manitoba since 1909, received donations from more than 40 individuals and organizations to bring fans to the Winnipeg Goldeyes game against the Kansas City T-Bones on Aug. 18. A release said additional donations are welcome.
The nearly 1,300 beneficiaries from 43 support and service agencies from across the province will receive a game ticket, lunch from Salisbury House, a Goldeyes 20th anniversary rally towel and a commemorative B’nai Brith water bottle.
