Haley Rempel, a renowned Canadian flutist who trained at McGill and Yale and has toured Canada and Germany, will be at Churchill Park United Church to perform and to talk about classical composers, history, and architecture.
There will be a small reception after the event where Rempel will be available to answer any questions and talk about her career.
Tickets to the event are $20 or $15 for students in advance, or $25 at the door.
Some of the proceeds will go to the Oak Table’s Tuesday lunch program and the church’s Bert Whiteman Music Fund, which provides a small honorarium to musicians who perform during church services.
To purchase tickets, call Betty Young at 204-489-0149.
