Farmers’ market to open Saturday

  • Print

The St. Norbert Farmers’ Market’s 25th anniversary and grand opening will take place June 1.
The Saturday will be filled with the classics — fresh produce and meat — as well as free family activities, including face-painting, clowns, fiddling, baby goats, music, and an anniversary cake.
Throughout the summer and fall there will also be special events, including Canada Day fireworks, and on July 13 there will be a celebration for four vendors who have been at the market since the beginning.
August will bring food fun with zucchini races, September will bring the fifth anniversary of the gourmet outdoor evening, and in October, there will be the first-ever pumpkin fest.
The Farmers’ Market is located at 3514 Pembina Highway.
