Free wedding fashion fundraiser

  • Print

St. Paul’s Anglican Church will be holding a free fashion show and tea this Saturday.
The show "Wedding Fashions of Yesteryear" and "Mothers’ Day Tea" is hosted by the Anglican Church Women. The show will feature parishioners’ wedding gowns, either worn by themselves or by their granddaughters and nieces.
The dresses, from throughout the decades, will be walked down the aisle to matching music and commentary about the dress.
More fragile dresses will be on display in the parish hall along with some old wedding photos.
After the show there will be the "Mother’s Day Tea."
The event is free to the public, but donations are welcome in support of the parish.  St. Paul’s Anglican is located at 830 North Dr. The show starts at 1:30 p.m. and will run until 4 p.m. For more information you can reach the church at 204-475-7549.
