Spirit’s Call Choir is looking for new members.
The mixed non-audition community choir is committed to the ideals of personal and global harmony and incorporates song to attain these goals.
The 170 member choir runs under the direction of Jeremy Valance, and sings for fun and social justice.
"Everyone can sing, and together we learn songs of peace and joy," said Margaret Tobin, the choir’s founder.
The choir has been a recipient of the Mayor’s Service Award, and has raised over $160,000 for different causes and organizations.
The choir sings every Sunday from January to May from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Centre, located at 603 Wellington Crescent. The fee for the spring session is $60.
For more information or to join the choir, call Dan at (204) 488-0495.
