Karma Property Management’s Marc Kipnes and Myles Kraut know the importance of that old business adage and are extremely excited about the setting of their new luxury condominium project.
Hillside is nestled in Waverley West’s South Pointe, one of the most booming new developments in the city’s south end.
In addition to its proximity to several parks, the University of Manitoba, the new Investors Group Field and shopping meccas such as IKEA, Kenaston Common and St.
Vital Centre, Hillside is a destination unto itself.
"It’s a multi-family development that backs onto such a beautiful environment, including a large park, waterways and paths," Kraut says. "A lot of times, developments will fence everything out, but we bring those features right into our development. All of our bungalows have back gates so people can just walk out and enjoy the wildlife, have a walk around the park and enjoy the views.
"Also, it’s a multi-family development but it’s nestled in with all these million-dollar houses all around it. It’s quite nice to have those kind of neighbours."
A total of 72 units will be built on the Hillside site, including 56 town homes and 16 bungalows.
Townhomes will have either three or four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and range from 1,844 to 1,989 sq. feet.
Bungalows contain two bedrooms, two baths and range from 1,414 sq. feet to 1,604 sq. feet.
Space obviously isn’t an issue and neither are upgrades.
"All upgrades are included. We don’t up-sell people. The price that they get is the price that’s quoted," Kipnes says.
Upgrades include granite or CeasarStone countertops/surfaces, porcelain tile,
engineered hardwood, Kohler fixtures, potlights, nine-foot ceilings and window coverings.
Hillside buyers will also get one hour free session with Julie, Karma’s interior designer, to fully customize their home.
Hillside’s luxury townhouses and bungalows start at the low $300,000 mark, with condo fees as low as $150 a month. For Kipnes and Kraut, it’s all about providing the most possible value for your buck.
