  • Print

The Plum Blossom Martial Arts Academy will be hosting an open house at its new location on the second floor at 2989 Pembina Hwy. on Sat., Aug. 24.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be demonstrations, registrations, a meet and greet with instructors, and refreshments.

"I’ve been working hard at this dream," said Peggy McRitchie, owner and instructor at the academy. "When I found this commercial space in April and signed the lease I knew I was in for the long haul."

The Plum Blossom Martial Arts Academy has been in existence since 1981, conducting workshops out of community centres.
