South Asian talent to be showcased

Local South Asian talent will be on display at Raunak, a concert that will showcase various cultures on March 16 at  6 p.m. at Jubilee Place Concert Hall at Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute, 180 Riverton Ave.

The University of Manitoba Indian Students Association is putting on the show, with the support of the Pakistani Students’ Council. The goal of Raunak is to bring together South Asian communities and to raise money for The Dream Factory, a local non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the favorite dreams of Manitoba children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

Tickets for Raunak are $10 at the Answers information booth at the U of M, or from ISA group execs. uofmisa@gmail.com.
