The 6th annual Trek for Tourette will be held March 30 at the Assiniboine Park Duck Pond.
The national fundraiser is in support of Tourette Syndrome, described at the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada’s website as an involuntary disorder characterized by tics — involuntary and sudden movements or vocalizations which occur repeatedly in the same way.
This is the only national fundraiser the foundation holds in Canada, according to tourette.ca
The walk in Assiniboine Park will begin at 9 a.m. and will offer five and 10-kilometre walks.
