Upcoming Paws for Poker event looking for participants

The Winnipeg Humane Society will be hosting Paws for Poker Tournament on April 24 at the McPhillips Station Casino.

Cost to join the event is $75 person with 30 per cent of the funds going to the Humane Society and the rest going to winnings.

 Organizer Courtney Leiman, stewardship and Marketing manager at the Society, said not only will there be a first place prize, there will also be prizes for those who can in the top ten.  

Leiman is expecting over 75 participants but more are always welcome.
