Seminars for pooch and pet care

A seniors’ community in Amber Trails is welcoming its neighbours to usher in spring with a series of seminars for pet owners and fundraisers for animal welfare agencies.

The Amber Meadow retirement community will host three days of events and activities from Fri., April 5 to Sun., April 7.

Events include a seminar on pet care tips on April 5 at 2 p.m. On April 6, Amber Meadow will host a fundraiser for the Winnipeg Humane Society. On April 7, the group will host a baking session on how to make homemade pet treats at 2 p.m.

Each event is free and open to the public. Those interested are asked to RSVP.

Amber Meadow is located at 320 Pipeline Road.
