Winnipeg police quickly collared a trio of mischievous youth in connection with vandalism near the Disraeli overpass.
Uniformed officers, as well as AIR1 and Canine Unit members, responded to the overpass around 3:00 a.m. on Sept. 2 after receiving a report of damaged property.
After an investigation, officers found three youths had armed themselves with tools and damaged construction vehicles in the area. In all, there were approximately $12,000 in damages.
The three accused, two 15-year-old males and a 14-year-old female, are all facing charges of mischief over $5,000. The female faces a charge of theft under $5,000 as well.
All three accused were released on promises to appear.
