The New Hope Fellowship and Mission Ministry, a Catholic charismatic prayer group, celebrated its second anniversary at Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Hall, 932 College Ave., on July 21.

Thanksgiving mass was celebrated by Fr. Vic Tungohl (Ret.) and was attended by church members and their families, friends and guests from other congregations.

Br. Pol Gamo led the opening prayer and welcomed the participants. A spiritual message  was delivered by Br. Donell Custodio, resource speaker for the occasion.

The Kids Ministry, headed by Sr. Noreen Camungol Yuen, made a presentation and closing remarks came from congregation co-ordinator Sr. Emma Abejuela.

After the program, a potluck dinner was served, featuring Filipino-style roast pig with other Filipino foods.

Congregation officers are: Sr. Emma Abejuela (co-ordinator), Sr. Lita Mas  (assistant co-ordinator), and Sr. Beth Ambrosio (secretary).

Resource speakers are Fr. Vic Tungohl (Ret.), Br. Johnny Camungol, Br. Donell Custodio, Br. Mel Maralit and Br. Rodel Ambrosio.
