Jessica Novak, Kaylee Leochko and Makenna Boulard hoist Victory School's trophy for the most-improved school-patrol team at the 39th annual School Safety Patrol Awards Friday. Hosted by the Winnipeg Police Service at the convention centre, the awards show highlighted the top four school-patrol teams in Winnipeg. The Louise Staples Award was presented to the student who distinguished herself as the most efficient captain during the school year. This year's recipient was Mackenzie Taylor from Robertson School.
