FLOODING concerns at The Forks have led to the riverwalk along the Red River being closed daily at dusk.
Parks Canada announced Tuesday morning that lighting along the part of the riverwalk that runs through its property has been removed on a temporary basis in anticipation of spring flooding in the area, making walking there difficult.
Parks Canada said the lighting will be restored when the river levels have dropped.
