ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Newfoundland and Labrador's largest health board has lifted visitor restrictions at a St. John's nursing home after a resident recovered from swine flu.
Two weeks ago, Eastern Health confirmed that a man who lives at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex contracted swine flu.
Eastern Health says the man was isolated from other residents and has made a full recovery.
No other cases of swine flu have been detected at the nursing home.
The provincial government says there are 38 confirmed cases of swine flu on the island of Newfoundland, but none in Labrador.
