When Ant loses track of his very distracted father at the mall, he has to make his own way home. Soon he finds himself on a wild journey where he has to make his way through a field, and travel over a big body of water in a raft where he meets peculiar creatures like unstuffed dog toys (!). He finds mothers with babies and even a mysterious crone.

Winnipegger Johnathan Bevan, creator/performer of Ant!, uses a few special props and a row of chalkboards to help tell his tale. He has a gentle, welcoming presence which young children will find especially comforting as Ant makes his way through his strange world. One thing’s for sure: they might find the ending to be a bit of a surprise.

— Wendy Burke

From the Fringe program:

Ant gets lost at the mall and finds himself in a strange new world full of odd creatures and great mystery. Now he must summon all his courage to find his way home... if he can. Come and help our hero find his way back to his family and friends; he cannot do it alone.

How did he get lost? Does he make it home? There's only one way to find out - okay, there are a few, but come see the show.
