Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION
Silliness abounds in this four-hander romantic comedy written by Winnipeg’s Matthew Koroscil. Dillon and his pal Kyle are enjoying a summer day while Dillon ogles his love, Lucille, with binoculars. He summons the nerve to talk to her, only to learn the dastardly motorcycle punk Sneaky Peter has literally stolen her heart. Dillon offers her his heart — she’s got 40 minutes to live without one before she dies in the medical rules of this story — and makes a deal with the devilish Sneaky Peter to obtain the “eternal heart.”
Dillon, heartless, and Kyle, who’s just looking for a drink, go to the ends of the earth, even the “Sriracha Desert,” on their Pythonesque quest that gave the sold-out audience plenty to giggle over.
