If you are friend or fan of gregarious local musical comedy talent J. Williamez, you already know exactly what to expect from him, and you’ll laugh until beer comes out of your nose. (Did we mention you can drink at this venue?)

Otherwise, consider this a warning note. To be clear: this is a man whose biggest hit single is a sing-along about chlamydia, and who spends an hour schlepping around the stage in a bathrobe, riffing about the nuances of post-break-up masturbation. (We should mention you can drink at this venue.)

He makes most of it up as he goes, and it’s very funny if you’re in on the joke — otherwise it would be awkward as heck, less a fringe show and more a mess, and there are no refunds.

—Melissa Martin

From the Fringe program:

This is not the show J.Williamez had planned to present this year. Right before he sat down to write what would surely have been one of the best shows of this year's festival (and likely, of all time), J.Williamez got dumped by the love of his life after seven wonderful years.

This show is a strange, sad, and quite frankly very upsetting substitute for what would have been a great show. Come take part in the tragic spectacle that is J.Williamez: Dumped.
