What do you do if you’ve “missed the bus to manhood?”

New Yorker John Grady has written a poignant, autobiographical one-man show about how hard it can be to navigate the world of masculinity.

Polished and precise, Grady, a riveting performer (his credits include Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell and Blue Man Group) uses mainly his open face and especially his expressive hands to transport the audience through several crucial events in his life.

His National Ballet School training is apparent in the way he moves around the simple black stage. This show will interest anyone who’s ever had to deal with a bully, anyone who’s ever seen anyone being bullied, anyone who’s ever been unsure of themselves or afraid that they don’t measure up.

And you don’t have to be a Peter Gabriel fan, but it doesn’t hurt.

— Ben Wiebe

From the Fringe program:

John Grady's true tales of being picked on, chased down and beat up, from childhood to adulthood. Are bullies and the bullied destined to find each other no matter what? Will John ever stand and fight? A hero's journey...of sorts.

LITTLE PUSSY was chosen Best of the FrigidNY Festival and awarded "Outstanding Solo Performance". From the creator of the Fringe hit FEAR FACTOR: CANINE EDITION.
