Local actors Konrad Antony and Sarah LaCroix play on-again, off-again lovers who can’t quite figure out how permanent their relationship is going to get.

The early dates in this dialogue-heavy 55-minute drama are, to no surprise, mostly stilted conversation, but attempts to grow closer become stymied through clichéd miscommunication and clumsiness. The actors, during the opening night of their first fringe appearance, rushed their lines and robbed the piece of what little drama it has.

Here’s hoping that the opening-night jitters can be left behind or else it’ll be “just friends” who will want to give this theatrical relationship a chance.

From the Fringe program:

We're all looking for something. Sometimes we find it and sometimes we find the illusion of it.

Love's Trajectory is a two-hander drama with touches of awkward comedy. It explores the all-too-common situation of two people with very different aims and outlooks getting involved. What are the chances that this relationship could work out? And is it always fun until someone gets their heart broken?
