Peter Carlone and Chris Wilson arrive here with their latest comic adventure, which won the Just For Laughs Best Comedy Award at the Montreal Fringe Festival.

It’s not as outright funny as last year’s The Mystery of the Hungry Heart Motel but Peter n’ Chris Explore Their Bodies is another epic journey that shows off the Vancouver duo’s unflagging energy, flawless timing and fierce commitment to physical comedy. Then there’s the added appeal that it looks like they are having more fun on stage than their howling audience.

The two, wearing magic housecoats, go on a fantastic voyage into Chris’s body to deal with the source of his hypochondria. There they discover his body is ruled by the Dark One, a.k.a. Scott. That sets Chris to enter — what else — the Hunger Games, after which he has his showdown with the Dark One somewhere in the digestive tract. Pop culture references to Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings are sprinkled through the hour-long yukfest to enhance the enjoyment for its geek following.
