Hey there, time traveller!

Children will be happy to be introduced to the Peanuts gang through this upbeat musical focusing on Charlie’s Brown’s anthropomorphic beagle.
It will be their parents who will be wondering who the target audience is for Snoopy!!!. In the breezy number Clouds, the characters shout out what they see in the formation of the clouds: Linus says he sees Prometheus and Lucy the sack of Carthage. The sack of Carthage? Good grief. In another scene, Snoopy scoffs at his master’s command: "Chase sticks? I thought he said chicks."
Thankfully, most of that stuff will fly high over the heads of the young spectators, who will delight in watching the canary Woodstock, a well-costumed Mesha Lovegood, flit about with his pal Snoopy, who is performed appealingly by Kai Jolley. Having adults play the Peanuts kids is visually jarring, especially when Charlie Brown is played by grey-haired 60-year-old Laurie Fischer. Rachel Brown, as Chuck’s sister Sally, is best at capturing her character’s sunny nature. The entire cast sing well in this less-than-impressive musical.
