The Big Stupid Improv Show
A fringe perennial, this all-star comedy can be hit-or-miss, but with Crumbs’ Stephen Sim and Lee White playing ringleaders, the bar is set dangerously high.
A rotating cast backed by musical improvisers DJ Hunnicutt and Mama Cutsworth is made up of local lights — Alix Sobler and Trish Cooper joined the fray opening night — along with touring fringe performers, including Oregonian Stacey Hallal (Irregardless).
A Director’s Cut show had the first cast performing fragments of five riotous sketches, with the audience voting on which story to have them complete. You never know what you’re going to get onstage, but thanks to a devoted fan base, it’s always fun to be a face in the Big Stupid crowd.

From the Fringe program:
The Big Stupid Improv Show has been produced at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival for over a decade. The show brings together comedic performers, improvisers and actors who are in town touring their shows, and throws them onstage for a "Large" and somewhat "Silly" show.
Come and see your favourite Fringe stars perform with your other favourite Fringe stars! As always, the show is hosted by Stephen Sim and Lee White of CRUMBS fame.
Improv means anything can happen. Have an open mind.
