Well, you can’t fault this one for truth in advertising.
Local improv guys Shawn and Luke go to a legion, perform in the very small space between the bar and the tables, and offer a free beer to audience volunteers who whack them with plastic baseball bats.
The tone of the show is lowbrow, barroom improv. Being loud is part of the humour. However, if this is your main shtick, it gets tired pretty quick. And while Shawn and Luke perform their improv games decently enough, someone really needs to tell these guys (assuming they can be heard) that if loud means funny, then REALLY LOUD does not necessarily mean really funny. Especially when it involves two big husky guys bellowing at you from eight feet away for 50 minutes straight. Ouch.
The Horrible Friends: Improv that will ring in your ears long after last call.
