From the Fringe program:

Director: Mitch Krohn

Cast: Kim Kakegamic, Angie St. Mars, Matthew Hall and Justin Rempel

Irresistibly comedic and clever, Daniel MacIvor's This is a Play takes audiences on a hilarious romp through the interior lives of actors. This play about a play reveals what goes through the minds of three performers as they present an "important" new work…about lettuce. Theatrical in-jokes will leave you howling as saliva, bad wigs and method acting threaten to derail the artists' creative processes.

"Ingenious, whimsical, a lyrical lunacy in the writing." – The Globe and Mail
