Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION
Laurence is waiting the arrival of Isaac, his one-time best friend from whom he has grown estranged.
He has been rehearsing how to greet his bro when a leery Isaac arrives. Laurence announces he wants them to retell their favourite ghost wolf story. The pair met while arguing over whether Isaac could fight a wolf, and they forged a relationship not unlike the alpha and sensitive beta males in a wolf pack. Mixed into their awkward reunion are flashbacks to the last time they saw each other, offering clues as to what drove them apart.
Actors/writers Cory Thibert and Tony Adams ask a lot of their audience to keep all the stories straight and understand what they are trying to say about the end of a male friendships. It doesn’t all come through clearly, but the two do forge a nice chemistry onstage that communicates the intimacy their characters once shared.

In this coming-of-age-bromance-break-up romp, longtime best friends Isaac and Lawrence have fallen out of friendship. Following a series of well-intentioned (yet incredibly ill-calculated) grand gestures gone wrong, the two meet to tell their favourite ghost wolf story for the last time.
"It's a bit of a sinister set-up for what is essentially 50 minutes of laughter." (Fully Fringed, Ottawa)
