Monday brings the second week of the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival and another week's worth of performances and interviews at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café.
The entertainment begins at 12:30 p.m., with Martin Kolbus and Stephanie Graham of the Winnipeg Shibari Theatre Company, who will perform a scene from their Japanese rope bondage play 340 ft.
At 1 p.m., Peter Aterman, star of Slaves of Starbucks, A Requiem for the 20th Century, will perform a portion of his monologue from the show. Daniel Wishes and Seri Yanai of the Wishes Mystical Puppet Company, which produces The Devil's Circus, will perform some of their puppetry. Finally, at 2 p.m., Nancy Kenny of Roller Derby Saved My Soul, will skate into the News Café for an appearance.
Performances at the Winnipeg Free Press News Cafe, at 237 McDermot Ave., continue until Friday starting at 12:30 p.m.
