Their Christmas hope: They need new furniture and kitchen items for their group-home facilities and donations to purchase Christmas gifts for families and children in need.
In Marymound's own words: "Donations are always appreciated to help children who find this time of year especially difficult. Even the littlest of actions can make such a huge difference," said Gwenda Nemerofsky, manager of communications.
How you can help: They are in need of donations of money and furniture in order to address the needs of the more than 1,200 young people and families they serve. To donate, call 338-7971 and ask for Lynda Gilchuk. For donations in person, please drop them off at 442 Scotia St.
