Jets documentary here Aug. 20
Winnipeg Jets fans looking to reminisce about the not-too-distant past can head to 4Play Sports Bar on Aug. 20 where the Amadeus Steen Foundation will be hosting the world premiere of the new World Hockey Association’s Hall of Fame documentary WHA Legends: Remembering the Winnipeg Jets.
The premiere will feature appearances by former Winnipeg hockey stars including a reunion of the Jets’ famous Hotline of Bobby Hull, Anders Hedberg and Ulf Nilsson.
Former Jets and other 1970s World Hockey Association stars will travel from across the globe for the film premiere event, capping off the Amadeus Steen Foundation’s annual week-long charity fundraising effort. WHA All-Star and Team Canada ’72 star Pat Stapleton is also confirmed for the premiere.
A limited number of admission tickets are available to the public, and can be purchased at the 4Play Sports bar in person or online at the web site.
4Play Sports Bar is located at 323 Portage Avenue.
