Radisson
An eastern Winnipeg riding, Radisson shifted slightly further south in the boundary realignment and now includes Windsor Park, the St. Boniface Industrial Park, Mission Gardens, and part of Lakeside Meadows.
It is a middle-income riding with low unemployment, and a median income significantly higher than the provincial median. About one in five children live below the poverty line.

Nearly one in four do not speak English as their first language. The riding has a small but still significant francophone population.

Politics
The riding has been in existence since 1958 and has generally voted for the NDP since its creation and exclusively for the NDP since 1990, though the Conservatives and Liberals have early briefly held this seat.
However significant boundary changes and suburban population growth may throw some unexpected changes to the voting patterns here.
NDP MLA Bidhu Jha has represented the riding since 2003 and is running again.
