Because of YOU, there is a WAY

This is very proud moment for Winnipeg.

When it looked as though United Way’s ability to maintain a stable network of essential programs and services might be hindered by a fundraising shortfall, Winnipeggers dug deep and responded with extraordinary generosity.

Over the next few weeks, once all outstanding donations are received, Winnipeggers will have succeeded in raising $18.2 million for our community through United Way’s 2009 campaign.

Thank you to each and every Winnipegger who invested time, money or both to ensure United Way is able to continue changing lives. I am humbled by your generosity.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to pledge your support for a safer, healthier Winnipeg through United Way, you can make a donation online 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Thank you for your hard work and commitment in 2009! Best wishes for an equally productive year ahead.
