Hey there, time traveller!

In September, United Way of Winnipeg welcomed 44 full-time volunteers to help with our annual fundraising campaign.
Each year, organizations from all sectors throughout the city generously lend us this valuable resource for approximately 14 weeks.
They continue to pay employees’ salaries while they work as sponsored executives for United Way, providing support and leadership to thousands of volunteers and workplace campaigns.
Without these individuals, there would be no way we could ever come close to raising enough money to secure an essential network of programs and services through United Way of Winnipeg.
With only weeks left in this year’s campaign, we said goodbye to our 2009 sponsored executives.
Thank you for all you’ve done to ensure lasting change and better lives in our city.
Special thanks to the generous organizations that sponsor this valuable peoplepower year after year, and to Jay Nadeau, project manager at MTS Allstream, for speaking on behalf of this year’s team at Report Session 4 and for sharing your own experience as a sponsored executive.
Winnipeg, now it’s up to the rest of us to bring this campaign home!
