Starting pitcher Chris Salamida will return to the Winnipeg Goldeyes for a third season, the American Association team announced on Wednesday.
Salamida, 27, has been signed to a contract for the 2012 season by Goldeyes manager Rick Forney.
A southpaw from Watervliet, New York, Salamida won 11 games for the Goldeyes last season to join Rafael Gross as the only two pitchers in franchise history to win 10 games or more in back-to-back seasons.
