Manitoba wins bronze on the diamond

In baseball, Manitoba’s Nir Liebenthal pitched two innings, giving up no runs on no hits and no errors for Manitoba which won bronze at the 2011 Western Canada Games in Kamloops,B.C., by beating Saskatchewan 12-9. At the plate, third baseman Devin Lebleu scored two runs on three hits and had two runs batted in.
