Kuzbyt, Agnew named MHSAA athletes of the week
Guard Kerri Kuzbyt of the Sisler Spartans varsity girls’ basketball team and Amy Agnew of the Morden Thunder Curling girls’ team have been named the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association athletes of the week.
Kuzbyt, the Home Run Sports urban athlete, led her team to the St. Mary’s Invitational tournament championship and led all players in the tournament with an average of 30.3 points per game and.
Agnew, the curling team’s skip, was picked as the Tri-Star rural athlete after she drew to the eight-foot with her final shot of the game to win her team the provincial curling championship.
