Rifles' Carter named to All-Canadians team
Winnipeg Rifles receiver Brett Carter has been named to the 2012 Offensive Jostens/CFL All-Canadians team by the Canadian Junior Football League.
Carter led the CJFL with 48 receptions and also recorded 782 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
The CJFL, which includes the Prairie Football Conference, the B.C. Football Conference and the Ontario Football Conference, will announced the defensive All-Canadians on Thursday.
The CJFL Major Award winners will be announced on Friday during the Canadian Bowl Banquet of Champions.
The 2012 Canadian Bowl will kick-off on Saturday at 1 p.m. at McLeod Stadium in Langley, B.C.
There were 14 players named Offensive All-Canadians.
