Rosters announced for provincial hockey teams

The evaluation rosters have been assembled for the Manitoba Under-18 women’s and Under-16 men’s hockey teams.

The Under-18 evaluation team is playing a three-game exhibition series against the University of Manitoba Bisons women’s team at Max Bell Centre this weekend, with games Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m..

The final Under-18 women’s team will go on to represent Manitoba at the National Women’s U-18 Championships, Nov. 6-10 in Calgary.

The Under-16 men’s evaluation team will play an exhibition game Sept. 29 against the Winnipeg Thrashers at MTS Iceplex. Game time is 6:20 p.m..

The final Under-16 men’s team will represent Manitoba at the Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary, Oct. 31-Nov. 3.
