Three young Manitobans have earned the chance to wear red-and-white at the upcoming FIFA under-17 World Championships in the United Arab Emirates.
Marco Bustos, Kianz Gonzales-Froese, and Ali Musse were all selected for Team Canada, where they will join Manitoba Soccer Association technical director Rob Gale, who is the assistant coach for the national team. MSA director Hector Vergara will also be at the event as one of the referee instructors.
All three teens came up through club soccer and Manitoba’s provincial team.
