Winkler's Leblond named MJHL player of the week
Chapen Leblond, the captain of the Winkler Flyers, has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League player of the week after the 20-year-old native of Terrace, B.C. recorded 11 points in three games last week.
He leads the Flyers with 30 goals and 71 points after 54 games.
The runners-up were forward Kyle Manlow, 20, of the Winkler Flyers and goaltender Matt Krahn, 20, of the OCN Blizzard.
