Ex-Goldeye Poulin joins Brandon senior squad

BRANDON -- The Manitoba Senior Baseball League's Brandon Cloverleafs hope to have one of the all-time great players in Winnipeg Goldeyes history in the lineup onàFriday night at Andrews Field.

The Cloverleafs have signed former Goldeyes shortstop Max Poulin, a four-time Northern League all-star who played in a team-record 676 career games with the Goldeyes from 2001 to 2008 and holds four club records.

"We're real excited to add a person of Max's talent and experience to our roster and filling a position that we really needed to fill," said Cloverleafs manager Ryan Potter. " Once he makes the adjustment to the league, I expect him to be an impact player in the league going forward."
