Sarah Fisher Racing adding 2nd car, 3 more races for 2010 IRL schedule
HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Sarah Fisher Racing will expand for the 2010 Indy Racing League season, adding a second car and running three more races.
Fisher will run her sixth race of 2009 in Saturday's season-ending Indy 300. She plans to enter nine events in 2010. The owner-driver said Friday that 2006 Indy Pro Series champion Jay Howard will drive her second car, which will compete in four races next year.
Fisher said, "Having a partner out there changes everything."
Fisher was the youngest starter in IRL history when she raced at Texas in 1999. She was voted IRL's most popular driver in 2001, 2002 and 2003, and became an owner-driver in 2008.
